November 2024 Newsletter

Hello everyone!

I haven’t sent out a newsletter since August when I rereleased “The Portal to Aardon,” so I wanted to provide a few updates on what’s been going on.

First, I attended my first-ever book signing event last weekend at one of my local bookstores. It wasn’t a huge turnout, but I managed to sell half of the books I brought and met some cool authors in the process. I’m looking forward to attending more events like this in the future — hopefully at some conventions or bigger venues!

Second, book 2 is moving (more like trudging) along! I’m in the thick of edits right now to get it one step closer to publication, but that means I need your help. Beta reading is a big part of the editing process for writers where we gather feedback from readers, to help us catch little mistakes and inconsistencies, before we dive into the deep edits.

So if you’ve read book 1 and are interested in getting your hands on book 2 early to offer me constructive feedback, please check out the following link and fill out the Google form. I’ll most likely leave it open through the holidays and send out the manuscript to read by January, with a 1 or 2-month window to finish reading. I won’t promise a release date, but I’m hoping for next spring/early summer.
